Redefining the User Experience to Drive Brand Awareness and Retention
Nutraj is a 58-year-old brand in the edible oil and dry fruits business, aiming to evolve into a modern and appealing brand — addressing the need to connect with a younger audience and enhance overall brand recall.
The project’s goal was to create a compelling online experience that not only showcases Nutraj’s rich heritage but also aligns with contemporary consumer expectations for a trusted and premium brand.
We embarked on a journey to understand the core of Nutraj’s brand identity and the evolving needs of its target audience — transforming its digital presence into a platform that fosters deeper engagement, enhances brand recall, and ultimately drives customer loyalty across every commerce channel.
Context
A Legacy Brand Meeting the Modern Shopper
Nutraj carried decades of trust and quality, but its digital presence hadn’t kept pace. To stay relevant with a younger, health-conscious, mobile-first audience — while continuing to serve loyal consumers and business buyers — the brand needed a cohesive experience that felt as premium online as its products felt in hand.
Problem Statement
Challenges with Engagement and Recall
The primary challenge was to create an experience that would resonate with a younger demographic while maintaining the trust and credibility associated with a long-standing brand like Nutraj. The brand needed a cohesive narrative that could be communicated effectively across all digital touchpoints — B2C, D2C, and B2B alike.

By addressing key pain points, we redesigned Nutraj’s website from the ground up, transforming it into a modern, engaging, and user-friendly platform while preserving the brand’s authenticity. The improved design streamlined navigation, optimized the checkout process, and eliminated friction points that previously led to high drop-offs. As a result, Nutraj experienced a 65% increase in online sales on their own platform, while the shopping cart abandonment rate decreased by 70%, significantly boosting customer trust, retention, and direct conversions.
